While I love our blog and having concrete, annotated entries, these days I'm finding I can share photos and videos faster and easier using Google Photos.  With the Google Photos app on your phone or tablet, you can subscribe to our shared album and receive notifications whenever I upload new material!  You can check in from your computer as well.

Some of the content is pretty personal and just meant for close friends and family.  If you follow this blog, then count yourselves invited, but please don't share / repost.

Animated

Jack can be very animated and intense!  Ethan got this picture while he was eating pizza with Jack at church.  Jack must've been telling a very exciting story!

Basketball

Here are the boys playing basketball at the YMCA with Ethan's friend and co-worker Babak.  Later Ethan joined and they played a two on two game.

Winter Getaway 2018

We had our annual Winter Getaway over MLK weekend in January.  We tried a new house that has a LOT more space for our large group.  It even has a movie theater with seating for 18!  Plus the hot tub, which is always a favorite for everyone.

We do a lot of puzzles on the Getaway.

Wes and Tuesday.  It's fun that the kids get to catch up with each other too, and we love that our kids all have fun together.

Ethan and Leland went for a walk at a nearby State Park.  They saw a ton of deer.

Unfortunately, Ethan and I ended the weekend with me in the Emergency Room and being admitted to the Fergus Falls hospital on Sunday night.  I'm glad we got to spend most of the weekend with our friends.  The gang back at the house took care of the kids and packed up our stuff so in the morning we were able to just drive to the house and get our things and go home.  

Basketball Portrait

Jack's basketball picture.  He's improved a lot since last season, and a huge amount since the year before.  He's gained a lot of confidence and has scored in just about every game they've played.  They haven't won much, but it's been a great experience for Jack this year.

Chicken Pot Pie

Ethan makes a yummy chicken pot pie.  We had one for my birthday dinner.  My taste buds are picky lately, but this hit the spot.

Sledding with Friends

Ethan took the boys and their neighbor friends, Tanner and Sienna, out sledding the other day.  Here they are trekking up the hill.

Caleb had a crash and ended up a bit bloody.  ;)
